New Super Hero Comics On Sale: Week Of January 15

Hey fellow comics fans! It’s a cold, rainy, foggy and all-around dreary day in this part of Central PA, but it’s not all bad. In fact, the weather is a perfect excuse to stay inside and curl up with some new super hero comics, provided you make the effort to leave the house and pick them up first.

Notable on this week’s Marvel list are the final-for-now issue of “Fantastic Four” that paves the way for next month’s relaunch under the guidance of writer James Robinson and artist Leonard Kirk—and also has Marvel’s oldest team sporting some snazzy red and black costumes. Deadpool gets not one but two new #1 issues, and Miracleman makes a much anticpated return, albeit in reprint form with digitally remastered lettering.

Some DC books are still caught in the grips of “Forever Evil,” which isn’t a bad thing in this blogger’s opinion since the first New 52 event has been entertaining so far. Other titles are merrily going about their business immune to the crossover, relying on the time-honored tradition of allowing the reader to figure out where the stories fit in if they so desire.

Enough babbling from me though. Here’s this week’s list of new super hero comics:
