New Super Hero Comics On Sale: Week Of February 12

Is anyone else really ready for winter to be over? Every time I write an introduction to one of these posts, it feels like there’s another winter storm either already upon us or on the way. People in the Southern U.S., I feel for you especially.

Along with the usual milk, bread and eggs (to make French toast?), it may help you avoid cabin fever if you’ve got some new super hero comics to keep you company. This week, Marvel is treating us to new first issues for She-Hulk, X-Force and the Winter Soldier, just weeks before he’s about to star as the main antagonist in the “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” movie. I’m sure that won’t be confusing to non-comics fans!

DC brings us some books involved in the stretch run for “Forever Evil” plus both current and future incarnations of the Justice League. “Batman” is worth checking out as well, as this issue supposedly plants the seeds for the weekly “Batman Eternal” series that is coming up.

Remember: stay warm, stay off the crappy roads, have a flashlight handy, and keep your comics within reach. Here’s the whole list of what’s new this week:
