Thor: The Dark World Releases On Blu-Ray, DVD Tomorrow

Just a friendly reminder that you can pick up the second chapter of the God of Thunder’s solo movie adventures on Blu-Ray and DVD tomorrow, February 25.

Actually, several parts of that first sentence are technically incorrect. Thor isn’t technically a god in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which has established the Asgardians as something more like really powerful aliens than actual Norse deities. He’s also not really alone in “Thor: The Dark World” since he has help from both Asgardian and human friends, as well as an unlikely ally in his half-brother Loki.

This also really shouldn’t be a spoiler at this point, but just in case you didn’t see “Thor: The Dark World” in theaters, please look away for the next paragraph …

There’s a scene during the credits that introduces the Collector, who we’ll be seeing again soon enough in “Guardians of the Galaxy.”

And that’s not even close to the high point of “Thor: The Dark World” for Marvel fans, since it had boatloads of action and quite a bit of humor. A love story? Yep, it had that too, in case you’re into that sort of thing.

No matter what your reason for enjoying it, the movie will be available for you to own on Tuesday. Look for it wherever you usually pick up movies on disc.
