Heroes Unite To Seek The Watcher’s Eye In Original Sin #2

The Watcher lying dead is a sobering enough thought. The fact that his eyes are also missing, holding all of the secrets of the Marvel Universe inside them, is absolutely chilling.

That’s why the investigation into Uatu’s murder kicks into high gear next month in Original Sin #2. The Avengers, the X-Men, Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four and even more heroes are all involved, desperately seeking the killer. But when more bodies appear and the top suspect is confronted, the result will be something Marvel says “will yield cataclysmic results that shake the Marvel Universe to its very core.”

“This issue leads to the moment where the Pandora’s Box that is the Watcher’s accumulated lifetime of observations gets opened,” Executive Editor Tom Brevoort said in a press release. “And sends the heroes of the Marvel Universe all off in different directions as information that they’d prefer to stay buried, or never knew about in the first place, gets released into the world.”

The team of writer Jason Aaron and artist Mike Deodato are ready to deliver on that promise May 21 when Original Sin #2 hits stores and digital. Every physical issue will contain a free code to download a digital copy through the Marvel app, along with special augmented reality features.
