What You’ll Find At The Marvel Booth At Special Edition: NYC

If you’re a big comic book fan and within reasonable distance of New York City, you owe it to yourself to head over to Special Edition: NYC this weekend. Created as a more intimate and comics-focused alternative to the increasingly sprawling New York Comic Con, this ReedPop show is making its debut at Javits Center North June 14 and 15.

Naturally, Marvel will be there, handing out free swag from its booth all weekend long. We’re talking the glow-in-the-dark Watcher eyeball — a must-have if you haven’t picked one up from your LCS during Original Sin — Iron Man masks, collectible lithographs and other cool free stuff.

Also free: a copy of the All-New Young Guns Sampler, showcasing the work of artists Nick Bradshaw, Sarah Pichelli, Ryan Stegman, Mahmud Asrar, David Marquez and Valerio Schiti. You might even be able to get one or more of this current crop of Marvel’s hand-picked rising stars to autograph your copy, as they’ll be on hand at the booth at various times throughout the show, as well as appearing in their own panel on Saturday at 12:15 pm.

Also slated to make booth appearances are Peter David, Jason Latour, Ed McGuinness and Frank Cho, plus Marvel always manages to throw in some surprises. Follow Marvel on Twitter for more details, and get over to the Javits if at all possible.
