First Look At Henry Cavill As Clark Kent In Dawn Of Justice

Via the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund this morning, we got a first look at Henry Cavill as Clark Kent on the set of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.  It was originally tweeted out by Kevin Pamplin of BBC Radio Jersey.

Aside from the Royal Marines Challenge Charity T-shirt he’s holding up, we’re getting a good sense as to how Clark is becoming the mild-mannered reporter we all know and love, but with a more modern take.  Gone are the vested suits and drone-like Men’s Wearhouse look.  The suit and trenchcoat seem to border on professional, yet rugged and functional.  The biggest question coming to people’s minds would be, “Where are his glasses?”  Since this isn’t a picture of him during active shooting, I’m guessing Cavill must’ve given them a rest.  My own wild fanboy imagination is thinking this thought, “They were in the middle of shooting a scene where he was transforming into Superman!”

I’m sure more of these types of pictures will be coming out soon.  We already have spy-pics of Gal Gadot in her Diana Prince garb.  We’ll soon see what Bruce Wayne and Lex Luthor will look like in their everyday wear.  It’ll be interesting to see if Aquaman will don any “surface-dwelling” attire.  Or will he only be seen in his King of the Seven Seas regalia?
