SDCC 2014: Batman 75th Anniversary Montage Wall Has New Image Of Affleck As Batman

A montage wall celebrating the entire 75-year history of Batman sounds like a cool idea. DC made it a reality, and it’s on display right now at Comic-Con.

Amid the many images of the Dark Knight from comics, TV, movies and more, sharp-eyed fans on the SDCC floor caught one picture that’s a lot newer than the rest: an image of Batman from Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, meaning it’s Ben Affleck behind the cowl.

This is just a hunch, but I don’t think this is going to do anything to kill off the “Sad Batman” meme that popped up in the wake of the very first images of Affleck in costume next to the new movie’s Batmobile. This new film version of the Caped Crusader may need something to make him smile. Um, not the Joker, though.
