Wizard World Fort Lauderdale Gets Exclusive The Walking Dead #1 Totino Tedesco Variant

The summer of The Walking Dead is continuing into the fall for Wizard World conventions. Wizard World Comic Con Fort Lauderdale is getting its own The Walking Dead #1 exclusive variant, this one by Julian Totino Tedesco.
As you can see below, sometimes you just want to take a break and get a cup of coffee during a zombie apocalypse, and you have to take your chances whenever you can get them. If you’re Michonne, you can always go back to your swordplay once you’re finished.
All full price attendees at Wizard World Comic Con Fort Lauderdale will receive the variant for free at registration while supplies last. VIP badge holders will receive an additional black and white sketch version of the cover that is even more limited.
Totino Tedesco, known primarily for his Marvel work, will be in Artist Alley at the show, along with notable names from comics like Neal Adams, Rob Liefeld and Ethan Van Sciver. The pop culture guest list has some heavy The Walking Dead flavor thanks to the ever popular Norman Reedus and Jon Bernthal (also the Punisher for Season 2 of Marvel’s Daredevil). William Shatner, Sean Astin and WWE wrestlers Dean Ambrose and Natalya are also scheduled to appear.
Wizard World Comic Con Fort Lauderdale is coming to the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center from October 2-4. Full ticket, guest and event information is available at WizardWorld.com.
