The second DC FanDome event has been confirmed and it’s taking place later this year.

DC FanDome became an overnight sensation in 2020.  Warner Bros. and DC’s very own virtual event last year, it was created after the cancellation of San Diego Comic-Con (that morphed into Comic-Con@Home) and delivered a ton of major announcements – ones that had the internet talking about it for days afterwards.

A global experience, it was unlike anything DC had done before as they livestreamed eight hours of panels, trailers, teasers and more – resulting in the event garnering over 22 million views from over 200 countries and territories. It also teased plenty of things to come within the DC Multiverse, ranging from comic book panels to trailers for their upcoming films, TV shows and games. Not only that but there were lots of additional features to choose from such as DC YouVerse, DC KidsVerse, DC InsiderVerse, DC FunVerse.

Now, as revealed by Deadline, the second edition of DC FanDome has been confirmed.

When is DC FanDome 2021 taking place?

More from DC Universe

If it’s anything like last year’s event, we should probably expect announcements related to the Arrowverse and other DC-related shows like Titans, Doom Patrol and Stargirl, and perhaps even some for upcoming HBO Max shows like Green Lantern Corps, Peacemaker and Gotham PD.

Moreover, it’s almost certain that there will be teases and previews pertaining to DC Films and the DCEU for properties such as The Batman, Black Adam, The Flash, Aquaman 2 and more. And we could also get some updates on the games being developed by WB Games – Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League – which were both confirmed at last year’s edition of the event.
