The Flash: Three Burning Questions From The Midseason Finale

Which two speedsters did Barry see the night his mom was murdered?
An interesting revelation from the very end of the episode came from a conversation between Cisco Ramon and Joe West. Cisco said that when Flash and Reverse-Flash were duking it out, he saw both yellow and red lightning coming from their clash. Joe, who by now is a believer in just about any crazy story involving super powers thanks to what he’s been through, immediately picked up on the theory: two people with super-speed were in the room when Nora Allen was killed.
My first thought is that the Flash at some point gets fast enough to travel in time himself, probably with the help of Cisco’s treadmill. That would be fitting, since the comic book versions of the Flash had a Cosmic Treadmill that allowed them to do the same thing, albeit with some post-Silver Age limits on how precise they could be.
We still don’t know the rules of time travel on The Flash, so it’s unclear if Barry can even prevent his mom’s death or if what we’re seeing is what’s guaranteed to happen. Reverse-Flash did say during the midseason finale that it was his mom’s destiny to die, making it possible that what’s done is done. Or has already been done. You know what I mean.
If it’s not Barry throwing off yellow lightning, than who could it be? Is it possible that other Flashes like Jay Garrick or Wally West are involved in this somehow? Or maybe it’s Max Mercury, a character from the comics who was working on unlocking the mysteries of super-speed before the accident even transformed Barry into the Flash. I don’t think any guess is off the table here.
