Supergirl: Five Things We Want In Season 2

More Heroes

Unlike the Arrowverse, where new superheroes seem to pop up almost weekly, at this point there are only three heroes in Supergirl’s world: herself, Superman and J’onn J’onzz. This needs to change and soon.

Part of what makes both The Flash and Arrow so much fun to watch is seeing them interact with other heroes of the DC Universe and the same can be said of the later seasons of Smallville. There is just something great about watching your favorite hero team-up with another superhero and fight the forces of evil.

Now I’m not exactly sure how the rights to the various characters work on television or if the movies have dibs on some things that the TV shows can’t use. But Supergirl needs company and it needs to be more than just Superboy, if that is indeed who is in the Kryptonain pod from the season finale.

What about the Legion of Super-Heroes? Or the Guardian? Or how about Booster Gold? Hell, at this point I’d take the Blue Beetle.

In Season 2 the writers really need to expand Supergirl’s world a bit and show her interacting with other heroes, even if that means a team-up with The Flash once a season. You can be relatively sure that no one would have a problem with that.
