#6 – Cap vs. Quinjet

From: Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)

After battling SHIELD’s agents and STRIKE unit in an elevator and jumping down several stories with only his shield to cushion his fall, Captain America’s final leg of his escape entails battling a hi-tech aircraft.

As SHIELD’s garage doors start to rapidly close, Captain America, on his motorcycle, speeds and jumps through the narrowing opening. Awaiting him on the bridge is a Quinjet, ready for battle. A voice on the intercom commands Cap to “stand down.” Note to

Hydra: You don’t give Captain America orders when you’re a terrorist organization.

As Cap speeds across the bridge, the Quinjet opens fire. Cap, without a break in his advance, leaps from his bike and right onto the aircraft. Wielding his shield with deadly precision, Cap destroys critical parts of the Quinjet, causing it to malfunction. With the Quinjet now descending, Cap leaps and somersaults to the ground, continuing his escape from a compromised SHIELD.
