Gotham Season 3, Episode 7 Synopsis: “Mad City: Red Queen”

This week on Gotham, Jim Gordon is forced to confront past demons when he comes in contact with compound developed by the Mad Hatter.

Last week on Gotham‘s “Follow the White Rabbit” episode, the Jervis Tetch forced Jim Gordon to play a twisted game of choosing who will die. Meanwhile, Penguin tried to find the perfect opportunity to profess his love to Edward Nygma.

The Mad Hatter started his game by making Jim choose between the lives of a newly wed couple and a boy. Jim chose the boy, and the Mad Hatter forced him to watch the couple plunge to their deaths. The stakes became even higher when the villainous hypnotist forced Jim to choose between Leslie or Valerie. In the end, Valerie was critically wounded, her life hanging in the balance.

As for Penguin’s developing feelings towards Edward, things became that much more complicated with the introduction of Kristen Kringle’s doppelganger—who seems to also have a penchant for riddles. It’s now an official love triangle.

This week, we’ll see the Mad Hatter continue to toy with Gordon. And we all know that things are never good when the Penguin can’t have what he wants. Here’s the official synopsis:
