Avengers: Infinity War can introduce these 10 characters

6. The Living Tribunal

Now, there have been no other cosmic entity mentioned outside the ones I have stated, but that does not mean there is not a chance that the all mighty and powerful, golden, entity known in comics lore as The Living Tribunal would not have a chance to make an appearance. This cosmic being made its debut in Strange Tales #157 in a storyline called ‘The Sands of Death’. 

This being dwarfs in power compared to the artifact such as The Infinity Gauntlet. Doctor Strange first encountered this being during his adventures in an attempt to prove the Earth is worth saving.

Capable of reality warping, energy manipulation and cosmic awareness to a high degree, this entity has been said to have vast limitless power and is subservient only to a deity of higher power known as ‘The One Above All’ –  leader of The Celestials. The Living Tribunal’s single purpose is to maintain balance within the multi-verse.

During Infinity War, more expansion into these ancient races the Celestials is likely either before the release of the film such as Black Panther or during the course of the film. That said, though the Living Tribunal may be the key to defeating the likes of Thanos, the Black Order and others who may threaten all of reality itself, the triple-headed preserver has more of a chance in appearing in Avengers 4 where Thanos would likely achieve near-omnipotence than Infinity War.
