2. Kylo Ren will betray Snoke

What the trailers seem to suggest is that Kylo Ren and Rey will form an alliance by the end of the film. This implies that Rey will turn to the Dark side and join the First Order, but I think otherwise. It’s more plausible that Kylo Ren actually betrays Snoke and leaves with Rey towards more Force knowledge.

As previously mentioned, balance looks to be the recurring theme in The Last Jedi, and as many fans have theorized, the Gray side of the Force might be making its first cinematic appearance in said film. If the Jedi are to end and the Sith are no more, then what’s left for Rey to seek is what’s already left in the middle: the Gray side of the Force. This she’ll have to do with the help of a Force user, and as the trailer implies, that Force user could be Kylo Ren.

Remember, Kylo already offered to train her in The Force Awakens. This was under the command of Snoke. What I think will happen, though, is that Kylo will realize he doesn’t need Snoke anymore, betraying the First Order and training Rey in the process. There was tension between Kylo Ren and his fellow First Order officers in The Force Awakens, so perhaps Kylo is not as evil as we thought.
