3. Eden Fesi
If you’re reading this and thinking, “Who is Eden Fesi?” don’t feel bad. He is a new character who hasn’t had a lot of exposure. Eden’s time in Marvel and contribution to T’Challa may be short, but Eden still has a major role in saving not just Wakanda, but the multiverse as well. During issue one of Secret Wars, Eden gave his life to teleport Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers), Peter Quill (Starlord), Thor (Jane Foster), and Spider-Man (Peter Parker) to the safety “raft”. If he didn’t, they would have been destroyed and remade in Dr. Doom’s new world along with everyone else. Eden died bringing them on board. Without this sacrifice, Doom’s universe would still be a reality. Recently, Eden helped T’Challa save Wakanda from Tetu and Zenzi’s attempt at destruction. After it was over, Eden chose to stay in Wakanda. I guess it felt like home.
Eden is one of the best kept secrets in Marvel. It’s not his power that makes him cool, he has an amazing personality as well. When he was introduced during Secret Warriors, he was just a kid who wanted to be a hero. He felt that he was destined for more than just training with mentor Gateway. He was right. Eden has helped save the universe in a huge way and he’s just getting started.
