4. Mahershala Ali

There’s no doubt that Mahershala Ali is talented. Although, winning an Oscar for his portrayal as Juan in Moonlight does help. No matter how unhinged or smooth Black Mask is, Ali can pull it off. Ali’s resume is filled with examples as to why he’d make for a great Black Mask.

In Hunger Games, he showed how dangerous he was with a gun as the intense, Boggs. His House of Cards character showed him in a suite working the political world. However, if you want to see why he’s truly capable of Black Mask just watch season one of Luke Cage. Ali’s character, Cornell Cottonmouth Stokes was Black Mask. He ran Harlem with a code although he did what was necessary to ensure no one messed with his city. On Luke Cage, we witnessed how obsessed and unhinged Ali could be. The role of Black Mask would fit him like a glove.

3. Gustaf Skarsgård

The last name Skarsgård comes with some cache, Bill is one of four Skarsgård brothers, the sons of the great Swedish actor, Stellan Skarsgård. His brother Bill plays IT the killer clown while Alexander has played Hercules and Tarzan. Gustaf Skarsgård is immensely talented who has roles on known Westworld and Vikings. In fact, on the History channel series, he plays the boat builder, Floki. Floki is a genius, is personality is neurotic and violent as he displays no fear. There are a lot of tendencies that fans would want in Black Mask.
