Titans: DC Universe shares first poster of the team in action

The first team poster for DC Universe’s Titans has been released in time for the show’s premiere at the New York Comic Con next week.

The first official poster for the DC Universe Titans show has been released, and it looks fantastic! Prior to the premiere of the pilot episode at the New York Comic Con, the four main characters – Robin (Brenton Thwaites), Starfire (Anna Diop), Beast Boy (Ryan Potter) and Raven (Teagan Croft) – feature together and look ready for action.

What I especially love about the poster is the color spectrum that defines each of the Titans – it’s a great homage to the visual aesthetic of the comic books. Not only that, but the poster paints a pretty clear picture of the characters’ personalities as well. From Robin looking beat up but determined, Starfire and Beast Boy’s calm demeanors and Raven’s general spookiness, I think we have a clear inkling of what the show is going to be about.

As a bonus, EW also has a new clip from the series that highlights Beast Boy’s transformation. Let’s just say, the clip is an enlightening experience, but does have some additional character interaction. It feels like this scene has walked right off the comic book page. This footage follows a clip that was released earlier this month, which features the two Robins meeting each other.

After more than a year of waiting, anticipation for the show’s imminent arrival is at an all-time high. Fans continue to be divided about the show’s potential, but DC Universe’s moderate teasers have definitely tickled my interests in the first season of Titans.

Titans will premiere at New York Comic Con on October 3 before it officially launches on the DC Universe streaming platform on October 12 in the United States. The pilot episode will introduce not only the core team, but apparently it will also include several characters that will go on to star in another DC Universe series – Doom Patrol.
