Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse: Meet Spider-Ham clip

Spider-Ham gets his own theme song in a new clip from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Are you excited for the movie yet?

Spider-Ham is voiced by John Mulaney and the character now has his own introductory clip. It gives the character a unique theme song that musically fits with the typical Spider-Man theme song, but it has  very different lyrics.

EW posted the exclusive video and while it isn’t a long one, it sure is fun. It doesn’t really give much away as far as the plot of the movie goes, but it does show you the comedic value that Spider-Ham will bring to it.

Take a look at the clip below and decide for yourself if you think you’ll end up loving Spider-Ham in the movie. Who knows, maybe we’ll be surprised by him and he won’t be solely comedic relief. Although, I’d be fine with the character either way.

What I love the most about this movie (without having see it) is how they’ve used the different textures on the animation. It’s noticeable with Spider-Ham and gives an extra level of depth to the fact that these characters don’t all come from the same universe.

The theme song is fun, the look of the movie is great and I’m just counting down the days until it releases. Critics are loving the movie already and I’m hopeful that fans will respond just as well to it.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse releases in theaters on December 14. Will you be heading out to see it on opening weekend?
