Team Flash discover a weapon strong enough to take down Cicada in next week’s episode of The Flash, but before they do, check out the brand new trailer for “Goldfaced”.

Cicada’s reign of terror continues to haunt the metahumans of Central City in The Flash, as the Scarlet Speedster hasn’t yet been able to defeat him. Since the terrifying methuman-killer reared his head in October, the members of Team Flash have tried absolutely everything they could think of to defeat him – with little to no success.

However, after Sherloque Wells’ memory machine also failed to provide them with the answers they were seeking, the team will next set their sights on recruiting a new weapon that could finally help them bring down the monstrous Big Bad – and it all takes place in next week’s episode. But if you can’t wait that long, check out the brand new trailer for the upcoming installment below:

The episode, titled “Goldfaced,” will see Barry team up with Ralph as the heroes go undercover, disguising themselves as criminals as they enter an illegal black market in search of stolen tech that could end up helping them stop Cicada. However, once they end up inside, they find themselves on the wrong end of criminal offers and will ultimately be torn between committing a series crime, or backing out and losing the one thing that will help them stop this year’s Big Bad.

Having come so close on so many occasions to finally taking Cicada down, could this finally be the answer they are looking for? And what kind of effect, if any, could this have on Grace – now that we know she may be influencing her own uncle from her hospital bed?
