Here’s how the X-Men cast should look in the MCU

Alexander Ludwig as Beast
Nicholas Hoult was a beast in the X-Men trilogy, taking the reins from Kelsey Grammer. Both actors did an amazing job as Henry “Hank” McCoy. Fox told a great story about one of the original X-Men. Hoult and Grammer brought a theatrical and dramatic feel to their characters. And trying to replicate that version of Beast would be difficult, but not impossible.
Telling a comic accurate story of Hank will help. Causal fans might not have known the comic book version of Hank was an athletically gifted genius who wasn’t shy about it. Unlike Hoult’s character, who needed Mystique to help him with his swag.
Another thing that Disney can fix is Beast being part of the original X-Men. Hank was part of the original five X-Men that included Jean, Scott, and Bobby.
For this version of Beast, Disney needs an actor who looks athletic, but can play a genius. Vikings actor Alexander Ludwig can do just that. He doesn’t just have the brutish look, but he’s capable of dramatic performances and turning on the charm.
It also doesn’t hurt that he’s no stranger to the big screen. He stared in The Final Girls, Final Girl, Blackway and several other films. His star is growing, and he’s set to star alongside Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in Bad Boys For Life.
