Here’s how the X-Men cast should look in the MCU

Joey King as Shadowcat
Who doesn’t love Kitty Pryde aka Shadowcat? She’s an underrated and undervalued member of the X-Men team in the movie franchise. She played a major role in a battle between the X-Men and Hellfire Club. You couldn’t tell by watching any of the X-Men movies.
Also, fans of the comics know that it was Kitty, not Wolverine who played a major role in the “Days of Future Past” arc. Ellen Page’s portrayal as Kitty garnered fan support; with hopes of a solo movie included. The Disney/Fox merger may phase out any plans for the Kitty Pryde solo film, though.
Fans can finally see Shadowcat and her alien dragon-like pet, Lockheed. It’s a perfect Disney miniseries, The Adventures of Shadowcat and Lockheed, which can also introduce Colossus. But before that happens, Kitty needs her story told correctly.
Kitty started off as a little sister character, who developed a relationship with Colossus. One of her greatest arcs features Doctor Doom and the Fantastic Four. She would eventually branch off and form her own group with Nightcrawler known as Excalibur, before becoming the headmistress at Jean Grey’s School for Higher Learning.
A young actress who can play a teen before growing into the role as a young adult makes sense. Joey King is 19, but has proven that she’s a transformative actress. If you want proof, catch her in The Act. See what I did there.
