4. A Preview Of The Returning Guest-Stars
Arrow‘s eighth season may have a lot to juggle due to its apparent reliance on the upcoming Crisis, but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s still the final season. And, as TV fans are bound to know by now, final seasons are all about honoring the past and reflecting on all of the faces, moments and decisions that got the respective show to this point.
Of course, Arrow has had a number of beloved characters depart over the years – characters who helped make the show the overwhelming success that it is – and it’s only right that they return to help us all bid Oliver Queen farewell.
Granted, we already know that both Colin Donnell and Josh Segarra will be returning as Tommy Merlyn and Adrian Chase respectively while John Barrowman (who portrayed Malcolm Merlyn) has also been spotted in Vancouver. But what about Susanna Thompson’s Moira Queen, Manu Bennett’s Slade Wilson, Willa Holland’s Thea Queen or Paul Blackthorne’s Quentin Lance?
As the Comic-Con panels traditionally reveal a few special tidbits about the upcoming season, it isn’t too much to hope that the Arrow panel gives us an insight into which beloved faces we can expect to see return for the final offering.
