1. The Premise

The biggest thing we’d like to learn from Arrow‘s Comic-Con panel is in regards to Season 8 itself, or more specifically, its plot.

Despite the buzz surrounding Arrow‘s final season, very little is actually known about the premise. Sure, we know that it’s going to be significantly different from all previous seasons, as the status quo has now been shattered (due to the fact that Oliver left his life behind to save the multiverse with The Monitor), but that tells us more about what Season 8 isn’t, rather than what it is.

Is each episode going to take place on a different Earth as Oliver and The Monitor attempt to recruit heroes from the multiverse for the Crisis? Or are we going to see some kind of Big Bad serve as a pre-Crisis test that Oliver must overcome to prove that he’s worthy?

Moreover, what about the rest of the characters? What do Dinah, John and Rene do now that Oliver has left Star City and Team Arrow in his rear-view mirror? And what of Laurel? Will she remain on Earth-1 now that she’s become the Black Canary, or will she return home to Earth-2?

There are so many questions when it comes to Season 8’s story that those ones barely scratch the surface, so let’s hope that the cast and creators’ panel at Comic-Con clears up the confusion and let’s us in on what we can expect from Arrow‘s final chapter.
