The cast of Batwoman will make their first ever appearance at San Diego Comic-Con this year, but before they do, here’s everything you need to know about their upcoming panel.
San Diego Comic-Con is, without a doubt, one of the biggest events on the entertainment industry’s calendar. Not only do some of the biggest names in Hollywood show up to it, it brings a multitude of fans together out of their shared love of film, TV, games, comic books and pop-culture.
Warner Bros. TV will be making its return to the event this year, and while its certainly no stranger to the Comic-Con environment, it will be bringing along a TV show that is – that TV show, is none other than Batwoman.
The cast and creative team of the new series will be making their first appearance at the beloved convention, where they will give us some insight into what we can expect from The CW’s newest series. However, before all of that, there will be a special world premiere of the pilot episode (alongside the Pennyworth pilot) on Wednesday July 17 in Ballroom 20 (which will also then be screened during the actual panel).
Set within the Arrowverse, Batwoman follows the life of Kate Kane who, when the love of her life is kidnapped in a Gotham City without Batman, is forced to take drastic measures. As a result, she modifies her cousin’s suit, gadgets and overall image to become Gotham’s new savior: Batwoman.

The character received a positive reception when she first appeared in last season’s Arrowverse crossover, Elseworlds, so you can rest assured that fans are looking forward to seeing her lead her own adventures.
While the official Comic-Con line-up has yet to be announced, we should expect to see Kate Kane herself, Ruby Rose, grace the stage with her presence, as well as regulars Meagan Tandy, Camrus Johnson, Rachel Skarsten, Dougray Scott and Elizabeth Anweis.
