The Boys: 5 characters we should see in future seasons
By Mark Lynch
Tek Knight
Tek Knight is this reality’s version of Batman. He was a billionaire complete with an English butler and even a boy sidekick. The difference, however, is that instead of a cool plane or car, he has an Iron Man-like suit of armor.
He wasn’t exactly on the level of The Seven, but his team weren’t slouches. Though he may have been good enough to join the team one day, he had… issues – the main one being that he couldn’t stop making love to things… things that weren’t necessarily people. Jackets, food, and even a cup of coffee – you name it. Yeah, it was weird to say the least.
Why should Tek Knight join the show? Because he’s hilarious! And The Boys would undoubtedly have a fun time making light of his complication. More than that, however, his story also comes with a message that really should be told.
His former sidekick Swingwing (who was essentially just Nightwing with a jetpack) was a guy who acted like he was a fan of the gay community when he was actually incredibly homophobic. Seeing this play out on-screen could shine a light on ignorance and ultimately teach people how to be accepting of each other. Like the comics, it could also highlight how the Butcher has no tolerance for ignorance.
