1. Adam Driver

For all the clamoring for Keanu Reeves, there’s an actor who has everything you’d want in Moon Knight. Yes, he’s mostly known for his role as Kylo Ren in the Star Wars franchise, but he’s more than that.

We’ll get to his brief, yet impressive acting resume. However, there’s a cool nugget about Adam Driver’s life that makes him Moon Knight standout.

More from Marvel Cinematic Universe

Before becoming an actor, driver served in the Armed Forces. More specifically, Driver served as 1st Battalion 81mm mortar man in the Marines. Moreover, he’s 6’2″ and could pull off the look of a heavyweight boxer.

He’s even played law enforcement in the critically acclaimed Spike Lee film, BlacKkKlansman. As Flip Zimmerman, he played a Jewish officer pretending to be John David Washington’s Ron Stallworth, who was pretending to be white and was assigned with infiltrating the KKK. Yeah, it’s complicated.

Driver continues to impress critics in his new film, The Report. He plays an FBI agent assigned to investigate the CIA’s inhumane torture tactics. The crazy thing is the film won’t even hit theaters until November.

It’s easy to get invested in the idea of Driver as Moon Knight. From his voice to his imposing looks, acting ability, and real-life Marine experience, he seems to have it all. There’s an authenticity Driver could bring to Marc Spector that not many actors can replicate.
