Matching 30 Marvel Cinematic Universe characters with each NBA team

Atlanta Hawks
The Atlanta Hawks have been consistently good for decades having rarely missed the playoffs. In the 1980’s they had “The Human Highlight Film” Dominique Wilkins, a very apt nickname. Every game he seemed to pull off an amazing feat of high-flying grace and ferocity. Dunking on anyone foolish enough to try to stop him. He’s part of the reason the dunk has become an effective and popular move.
In the 2000’s, there was a period where they weren’t a good team. Then, the Al Horford, Josh Smith, and Jeff Teague came to Atlanta and that changed. This Hawks team always gave the best teams in the east a run for their money. They made the arena’s nickname The Highlight Factory appropriate.
The Hawks have a new young player named Trae Young. He’s currently averaging 28 points, 8 assists a game, and isn’t scared to take big shots. It’s a shame that the Hawks aren’t doing so well. They haven’t made the playoffs in a couple of years and they probably won’t this season.
Spider-Man
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has a Human Highlight Reel of their own. Someone who’s the perfect blend of speed, agility, and power. It’s none other than the Amazing Spider-Man (no, not Andrew Garfield).
There isn’t a person in the MCU who can do the things that Spider-Man does. All of the flips with the strength and fighting is something not even Captain America can’t do. If you’ve seen Dominique Wilkins in his prime, you’d understand the comparison. Wilkins used to dunk with such ferocity that it looked like he was abusing the rim. With all the power Wilkins put into his dunks, he still had a lot of fitness in his game. Spider-Man has this same blend of agility and power when he fights.
