Matching 30 Marvel Cinematic Universe characters with each NBA team

Chicago Bulls
If you’re going to talk about the NBA, Michael Jordan has to be one of the first names you bring up. He’s been considered one of the best players of all-time before he retired. Jordan went six for six in the NBA finals (two three-peats) with six finals MVPs. Multiple scoring titles and 50 point games, hundreds of highlights, on top of being looked at as a lock-down defender.
He was also part of the first 70 win team in league history. Jordan was one of the most feared players in NBA history. When he was on, he was unstoppable. If that’s not enough, Michael Jordan helped change the game of basketball off the court as well.
Iron Man
Robert Downey Jr. is the man. He took comic book movies (that came out maybe once a year) and transformed them into a juggernaut. Before RDJ put on the Iron Man armor, no one knew that a comic book movie could make the money it did. A lot of comic book projects were dark and sometimes depressing. Iron Man made them cool. The story was still full of deep moments, but it was fun. Marvel Studios took Tony Stark and turned him into a premier comic book character. Michael Jordan did that for basketball and the NBA.
We could make another comparison as well. The Flu Game is a classic moment in NBA history. Jordan had sweats, chills, shakes and feeling like death, he came out and had a stellar game in the NBA Finals. Tony Stark has been beaten down, seemingly defeated, and kept on fighting. In Avengers: Endgame, he defeated Thanos despite being overpowered and outmatched. Iron Man died saving the world like Jordan gave it all on the court during that game. There will never be another Michael Jordan and there will never be another like Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man.
