Matching 30 Marvel Cinematic Universe characters with each NBA team

Sacramento Kings
The Cincinnati and Sacramento Kings had some amazing talents come through their doors. Mitch Richmond, Oscar Robertson, and Chris Webber are just a few players to have hall of fame level careers with the Kings. Mitch Richmond was a three-point specialist who could also score in the paint. Oscar Robertson could do it all. He was the first person to average a triple double. Chris Webber was just all around phenomenal. He could post, defend, rebound, and pass the ball. All three of these guys would flourish in today’s NBA.
The Kings haven’t made the playoffs since 2006. They’ve had some chances when Demarcus “Boogie” Cousins was there, but things never really worked out. Currently, they’re not playing terrible. The Kings currently have a plethora of young talent. Buddy Hield and De’Aaron Fox could blossom into a terrific NBA duo. Hopefully the Kings front office won’t give up on them.
M’Baku
M’Baku wanted the Wakandan throne. He felt that Wakanda was moving away from their traditions and becoming too dependent on technology. When the challenge for the crown came, M’Baku was the only one who was willing to fight. M’Baku almost won. He was willing to die as well. Thankfully, T’Challa reminded M’Baku that his people needed him. M’Baku tapped out and lived to fight another day.
M’Baku came as close to winning the crown as the Sacramento Kings did of winning the title. During the seasons with Chris Webber, Mike Bibby, and company, the Kings always had one of the best records in the league. Every year they ran into the Los Angeles Lakers and lost in the playoffs. Admittedly, there were some funky things going on with the Lakers. Some phantom and mysterious calls from the refs may have helped. Regardless, the Kings seem to come up short.
