Watch The Flash season 6, episode 12 trailer

Sue Dearbon makes her long-awaited debut in next week’s episode of The Flash, but before she does, check out the brand new promo for “A Girl Named Sue”.

Next week, The Flash will officially introduce a character it has been teasing the introduction of for quite a long time.

Ever since the show’s fifth season finale, Ralph Dibny/Elongated Man has returned to his private investigating days and, in the process, has found himself obsessed with one particular case. That’s the case of the mysterious disappearance of one Sue Dearbon.

Promising to help her family find the missing woman, the hero has searched non-stop for her throughout the sixth season of the show and, by the looks of next week’s episode, he might finally get the answers that the Dearbon family has been looking for. And if you’re too excited to wait that long, then you’re in luck, because The CW has released a brand new promo for the episode. Check it out below:

The episode, appropriately titled “A Girl Named Sue”, will finally see Ralph successfully track down Sue Dearbon. Portrayed by Natalie Dreyfuss, the character is of course, a legendary DC Comics character associated with Elongated Man, but just what has been going on with her on The Flash? Guess we’ll find out next week, right?

Elsewhere, Iris West-Allen will continue her investigative reporting as she appears to work with another newcomer in Eva McCulloch (Efrat Dor) – the woman who, before now, was presumed to be dead.

After being taken into an apparent mirror dimension, Barry noticed that Iris’ behaviour wasn’t very, well, Iris in this week’s episode as the pair attempted to go out on a date until things started taking an unexpected turn. And after that, we all discovered that it wasn’t Iris at all because she was still trapped in the mirror dimension.

With that in mind, we have to wonder: Will things get even more bizarre next week?
