5. An old nemesis returns to The Flash

After an unexpected month-long hiatus, The Flash returns to screens this week with the sixteenth episode of its sixth season. “So Long and Goodnight” will see the villainous Black Hole reemerge. This time, however, they’re targeting Joe West.

The CCPD Captain has been investigating the illusive organization for weeks now – receiving help from Police Chief Singh as he did so – but it appears that Black Hole will strike back by recruiting one of The Flash’s old enemies to take him down.

The newly-released promo images reveal that Ragdoll will be making his return to the show as he attempts to take Joe out. However, Joe’s wife Cecile will also end up caught in the crossfire, and it appears that Barry will understandably be called upon to save the day.

The villain made his debut back in the fifth season when he surfaced in a chilling Halloween-like episode. He then resurfaced later in the season when Nora West-Allen recruited the Young Rogues in a bid to steal the Mirror Gun from McCulloch Tech.

How will Barry react to the return of his old enemy, and will he be able to stop him from killing Joe?
