The CW has unveiled its fall schedule and there are some major changes underway for the Arrowverse shows and Riverdale.

The CW joined virtually every other major TV network in the world when it was forced to reschedule a lot of its programming in the wake of the novel coronavirus outbreak. Due to production being shut down on all of its in-production major shows, it had to figure out a way to drag things out until the usual finale week and fill out the remainder of its schedule.

Given that much of the world remains in uncertainty now, everything remains up in the air. As a result, very little of the network’s regular programming (The Flash, Supergirl, Batwoman, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Black Lightning, Riverdale, Legacies, Nancy Drew, All-American, Charmed and Roswell: New Mexico) will be returning this fall.

Yes, after much anticipation, the network has officially unveiled its 2020-21 schedule:

Fans are also eager to hear the fates of Arrow spin-off Green Arrow and The Canaries (which was developed through a successfully and acclaimed backdoor pilot) and The 100 prequel series (which is due to air during The 100‘s final season as a backdoor pilot). The CW has also yet to make a decision on Riverdale spin-off Katy Keene which airs its final season tonight.

The network also recently acquired the rights to DC Universe’s Swamp Thing which it will air for the first time on non-streaming TV alongside CBS All-Access’s Tell Me A Story, Coroner and Dead Pixels.
