2. Destiny

Beyoncé may not get to play Storm, but she could play a hero that shares some history with her… kinda. In the comics, there’s an arc that sees Destiny being controlled by Storm’s arch-nemesis, the Shadow King. Other than that, they don’t have that much in common. Moreover, she also co-founded the second Brotherhood of Evil Mutants and the government mutant operatives, Freedom Fighters.

Destiny’s not a mainstream X-Men and she didn’t get any love from the Fox franchise, but that could change if she’s introduced in the MCU – especially if Beyoncé plays her.

Destiny is the psychic mutant activist who’ll go to the extreme to protect mutantkind. She and Mystique shared those same radical ideologies and would eventually fall in love. The dangerous duo would also adopt Rogue which lends itself to another storyline. Beyoncé was already a Destiny’s Child, so this isn’t her first rodeo in a trio.

The two women and lost teen would set out on an adventure to rid Captain Marvel of her powers. Beyoncé could easily play Destiny in a Disney Plus mini-series starring Mystique in a show that highlights how girls do indeed Run the World.

If Beyoncé is cast as Destiny, she could bring some notability to hero otherwise unknown to non-hardcore fans.
