Say her name: 5 Marvel characters we could see Beyoncé play in the MCU

1. Songbird

You didn’t think this list would slip by without Songbird, did you? Maybe I’m a little too Drunk In Love with the idea, but to me 1 + 1 makes this too perfect not to happen. Fans want a Thunderbolts movie; Songbird is a founding Thunderbolt. The MCU is flirting with Beyoncé for sure, so why not get her to play a hero with some vocals? Okay, Songbird is a screamer, not an actual singer, but you get the picture.

Songbird could start off just like she did in the comics, as a villain. The MCU could introduce her in a Spider-Man movie as a hired gun for Norman Osborn. That’s a story that Marvel comic fans might know well. This arc takes place during Civil War and she’s already a Thunderbolt. However, flipping her story to make her part of Osborn’s team of evil before becoming a Thunderbolt isn’t a bad one.

After her brush with evil, Songbird could work her way back into the good graces of the public. Thus, she’d help form the superhero group Thunderbolts.

Perhaps she could star as the character in two movies – one being Spider-Man, and the other being a larger Thunderbolts piece in which she’d be part of a star-studded cast. In either movie, Beyoncé could shine, but not forced to be the main character, though — she could leave a lasting impact.
