3. Keep Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn

While Birds of Prey had a mixed box office performance, one consistent has been Margot Robbie. Robbie has reached the status of being synonymous with a character in a very short space of time. When you think Harley Quinn, you think Margot Robbie (and vice versa).

The only problem has been that one big, breakout movie. Suicide Squad did not mesh well with audiences, and Birds of Prey was good, but that’s all you can really say. Hopefully, The Suicide Squad will be a big hit for the character both in terms of fan response and performance.

Robbie had a big behind-the-scenes presence on Birds of Prey a lot of say with on what she wanted for her character. She has earned that creative control as she has been the best parts of both Suicide Squad and Birds of Prey.

A big part in selling a cinematic universe is stars. You need big names to help sell movies, and Robbie is growing into one of the biggest names in Hollywood.

Similar to The Rock, it would be foolish to move away from, recast or even change Harley Quinn. Side note, how awesome would it be to see The Rock and Robbie on-screen together in a superhero movie?

Harley Quinn is a very popular character in the comics and in animation. There is a fear of over-saturation of the character, but if the movies are really good, then there is nothing to be worried about.
