The Injustice Society attacks Courtney and her family in newest Stargirl trailer

Tigress, Sportsmaster and the ISA attacks Courtney, Pat and their family in the new trailer for the first part of Stargirl’s finale “Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E. Part One”.

Stargirl‘s debut season has been building towards a major showdown on the DC Universe series. It seems like we’re finally about to get it.

Over the past 10 weeks, Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger) has ascended to superhero status pretty quickly. Though she initially thought Starman (Joel McHale) was her father, she finally realized in this week’s installment that her real father was nothing more than a crook named Sam Kurtis (Geoff Stults) who used her to take her valuable necklace.

Nonetheless, with thew Injustice Society ready to kick off their master plan and control half of the country, it’s now up to Stargirl and the rest of her new Justice Society of America to take the fight to the villains once and for all. And with that, Courtney, Yolanda Montez/Wildcat II (Yvette Monreal), Beth Chapel/Dr Mid-Nite II (Anjelika Washington) and Rick Tyler/Hourman II (Cameron Gellman) seek to prove themselves as the heroes that Blue Valley needs.

The two-part season finale kicks off next week and if you can’t wait that long then you’re luck because The CW has released a brand new trailer.

The episode, titled “Stars & S.T.R.I.P.E. Part One” will see the Injustice Society enact the plan they discussed in this week’s installment. That plan involves killing Courtney, Pat, Barbara Whitmore and Mike Dugan.

With Jordan Mahkent/Icicle (Neil Jackson) having discovered Courtney’s identity thanks to Henry King Sr./Brainwave (Christopher James Baker), he struggled over the idea of killing the woman he was so clearly falling for: Barbara (Amy Smart). However, in the end, he allowed Brainwave to set the plan in motion and suggested that they also target her stepson Mike (Trae Romano).

As Tigress (Joy Osmanski) and the rest of ISA come for the Whitmore/Dugan clan, Stargirl, the JSA and Pat/S.T.R.I.P.E. (Luke Wilson) will step up to stop them once and for all.
