The Boys: 6 burning questions after the season 2 finale
By Mark Lynch
2. Will the team take Compound V?
At some point, The Boys will realize that they’re outpowered by The Supes. There may come a time when Kimiko just won’t be enough. If and when that does happen, they’re going to need more power. The easy solution to this conundrum would be for them to take Compound V. However, if they do this, they’ll become everything they hate. Easily fixed: Butcher could trick them into taking it or sneak it into their drinks. If he takes Mallory’s offer to join the supe-defending team (like in The Boys comic), he’ll take the compound. With his wife dead, he’s going to hate supes even more and will do whatever it takes to kill them all – even if it means killing himself in the process.
1. What’s up with Victoria Neuman?
Lastly, we finally saw who was blowing up heads. All this time it was Victoria Neuman. She played us all. When we thought she was all for helping innocent people, we now realize that she has a motive of her own. The question is what is it? Maybe she thinks these deaths were for the good of the world. If that was the case, then why didn’t she kill Homelander or Stormfront? Or did she try and it didn’t work? She’s still continuing her political campaign and now Hughie is with her as well. She’s probably going to be the big bad next season.
