Elizabeth Olsen is Wanda Maximoff in Marvel Studios’ WANDAVISION, exclusively on Disney+.

The heavily-anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe show WandaVision won’t be arriving on Disney Plus this month.

After Black Widow‘s indefinite delay, WandaVision is expected to be the only trip to the Marvel Cinematic Universe that fans will be getting this year. The much-anticipated Disney Plus original sees the returns of Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch and Vision respectively and fans are hoping that it will hit the streaming service by the end of the year. That doesn’t mean we should expect it this month, though.

As revealed by ComicBook.com, Disney+’s latest “Next On” teaser – which gives fans a glimpse of some of the original content on the service in the coming month such as The Mandalorian season 2 – did not feature any footage of WandaVision, meaning that the MCU series won’t be hitting screens in November.

When is WandaVision released?

Some fans had hoped that the show would debut before the end of November considering the fact that there’s six episodes and only eight weeks of the year left. However, it seems that the show will indeed be released in December like many initially suspected after Disney confirmed that the show would arrive before the end of the year.

More from Disney Plus

No doubt audiences will be eager to consume WandaVision given that it’s the first installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in over a year and the only chapter we’ll be getting from it in 2020, so it’s understandable that this excitement may have led many of us to hope that the limited series would show up sometime in November.

Yes, this just means that we’ll have to wait a little while longer but it will be worth it for our annual MCU fix!

Are you looking forward to WandaVision? When do you think it will be released in December? Let us know in the comments below!
