Riverdale season 5 character preview: Veronica Lodge

What will happen

Much of Veronica’s arc in Riverdale season 5 does seem to be panning out like fans think it will and that will certainly make things interesting. With that in mind, let’s look at what the upcoming installment of the show has in store for her.

For starters, she’ll undoubtedly play a part in helping solve the mystery of the Riverdale Voyeur, giving the sleuthing gang one more hurrah before they all go their separate ways for college. After that, however, things will take something of a turn.

Following the seven-year time jump we know that Veronica is married to a rather unlikeable individual named Chad Gekko (played by Chris Mason) and that he won’t take too kindly to her friendship with Archie. Not only does that confirm that Chad’s time on the show will be short-lived, it confirms that she and Archie are still somewhat in each other’s lives and it will be quite exciting to see “Varchie” exist as the friendship it never really got the chance to be. Of course, this will lead to the pair’s romantic reunion (which absolutely must happen at some point).

Veronica will undoubtedly do well for herself but the question will remain as to whether or not she’s truly happy.

Riverdale season 5 will be a big year for Veronica Lodge, there’s no doubt about it, and we can’t wait to see what she has in store for it. Daddy.
