Mark Ruffalo’s Professor Hulk returns in She-Hulk set photos

New set photos from She-Hulk have surfaced online and they feature the first look at Mark Ruffalo reprising his role as Dr. Bruce Banner/Incredible Hulk. The since-deleted post from actress Anais Almonte features her posing for a photo with the veteran Marvel Cinematic Universe star.

Ruffalo is sporting the motion capture suit and equipment required for bringing the Hulk to life on the screen. Though this doesn’t necessarily give away which version of the character he will be playing in the Disney Plus show, the likely option is the Smart/Professor Hulk persona seen in Avengers: Endgame. And this photo suggests that because he wouldn’t need the mo-cap suit if he had returned to his Bruce Banner persona.

Ruffalo previously portrayed the character in The AvengersAvengers: Age of UltronThor: RagnarokAvengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. His return in the Tatiana Maslany-led She-Hulk had been rumored for some time before it was eventually confirmed.
