Daredevil

Year: 2015 – 2018

Seasons: 3

Daredevil was the first of the Marvel Netflix shows and is still widely considered to be its best, with all three seasons gripping audiences when they debuted. Unlike anything else in the genre at the time, Daredevil turned up the darkness and the maturity to produce a gritty crime drama that just so happened to feature a costumed superhero.

Matt Murdock is one of Marvel’s most popular characters and it goes without saying that both the show and Charlie Cox did the character justice. The fact that we’re still excited about his potential return in the MCU four years after the show’s untimely conclusion is an indicator of just how beloved it was.

Arrow

Year: 2012 – 2020

Seasons: 8

To say it’s hard to imagine where the genre of superhero television would be without Arrow would be an understatement. The show single-handedly birthed the most successful shared universe on the small screen in the Arrowverse and kickstarted the modern-day superhero renaissance we’re living in today.

Arrow changed the game for superhero TV and we’re very grateful for that – just as we’re grateful to Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy and David Ramsey for gifting us with some of the first iconic DCTV characters.
