7 huge Marvel and DC comic book moments fans should know (June 2022)

Poison Ivy is dying
Comic book: Poison Ivy No. 1
Poison Ivy has always cared more about plant life than humans. It’s the actions because of that disdain for humanity that had her labeled a supervillain. Regardless of her motivations, what’s true is that she’s killed people to save plants.
For a while, Ivy wasn’t as murderous. That part of her is gone. Now her plan is to make sure that humanity dies while plant-life flourishes and she’s going to make it happen. Ivy is going to Seattle and then on to Taipei. Along the way, she will unleash spores that will kill humans all over the world. This will be the last thing she leaves the world. After this, she’ll be dead.
Why is this important?
Unless this is happening on an alternate Earth, readers can guess that Poison Ivy isn’t going to succeed. Nevertheless, she’s causing a lot of damage along the way. Ivy’s using the last of her powers to create killing spores. When someone inhales them, they have a hallucinogenic trip and die. What Ivy doesn’t know is that the people that she kills with her spores are coming back to life. Just not as humans. Hopefully Poison Ivy No. 2 will show what they’ve become.
