Will The Boys season 4 on Amazon Prime be released in 2022? Is there something else to be excited for?
Season 3 of The Boys came, conquered, and had an episode involving superheroes getting up to all sorts of raunchy activities with their superpowers (Herogasm). Unlike some shows, the entire season was flawless from start to finish. Everything a viewer could have wanted happened.
The drama involving Homelander came to a climactic end, proving that he can do whatever he wants. It also looks like his son understands that he can as well. Butcher’s lust for destroying Homelander leads him to taking too much Compound V24. He now has a little over a year to live. Maybe less. That’s on top of Annie January, a.k.a. Starlight, joining The Boys and Victoria Neuman being the newest candidate for Vice President of the United States.
If you’re reading this article, you know all about this. You want to know if season 4 is coming in 2022. Unfortunately, no.
Is The Boys season 4 coming out in 2022?
The Boys release their seasons quickly, but even they’re not that good. The good news is, according to Karl Urban in an interview with Collider, production for season 4 starts this month. The bad news is that it means that, not only is The Boys season 4 not coming in the weeks and months ahead, it’s highly unlikely that it will be released before the end of the year.
There’s more good news for fans of their favorite raunchy superheroes. Amazon Prime’s The Boys spin-off Gen V has already started production. That means viewers will likely start seeing more trailers, snippets, and random Vought International videos in the near future. Among The Boys: Gen V cast are Patrick Schwarzenegger, Shelley Conn, and Sean Patrick Thomas. The show will revolve around a reality TV/college show produced by Vought International.
Hopefully, that will be enough to keep fans happy until season 4 of The Boys is released or trailers come out sometime in 2023.
