Daredevil’s arrival was teased in She-Hulk episode 5, so did the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen finally make a return to the MCU in She-Hulk episode 6?
From the moment it was first teased that Charlie Cox would reprise his role as Daredevil in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, fans have been counting down the days until his first appearance in the show.
With each new episode’s arrival, fans have been eager to see if the episode would finally feature our first look at Cox back in action as Matt Murdock. However, up until last week, there’d been no mention of Daredevil or any sightings of the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen.
In the fifth episode of the series, Nikki manages to get Jen an appointment with a designer known for making attire for an elite clientele — including custom attire for those in the business of saving others. He almost turns her away until he sees Jen transform back and forth between her two personas to showcase the need for a suit that would fit both her human and Hulk forms.
While we didn’t get to see Jen’s She-Hulk suit at the episode’s end, we did get a glimpse of another client’s suit via a moment that has already broken the internet. As Jen was trying on her new suit in the dressing room, the designer walked past a hat box and yells at his assistant for leaving it out in the open.
When he sets it down, we get a clear glimpse of Daredevil’s signature helmet — with its updated yellow hue — and can see a portion of his new suit hanging in an unzipped garment bag in the background as the episode fades to black.
The moment seemed to be designed to set up Daredevil’s arrival, so did he finally make his long-awaited debut in She-Hulk episode 6?
Was Daredevil in She-Hulk episode 6?
After his introduction was teased with the reveal of his updated yellow super-suit at the end of She-Hulk episode 5, it seemed like the next step would be for Daredevil to appear in She-Hulk episode 6. However, we can confirm Daredevil does not make his debut in the sixth episode of She-Hulk nor does Charlie Cox appear as Matt Murdock.
Honestly, it’s quite disappointing that the episode did not deliver a payoff with Cox making an appearance in the episode or even another tease of his character’s looming arrival.
At this point, it’s starting to look like there could be some truth to the rumors that Daredevil won’t appear until episode 8 of the series which would be quite disappointing. Let’s hope he might perhaps appear in episode 7, even if just at the end of the episode as we’re literally dying to see Daredevil back on our screens again.
New episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law drop weekly every Thursday on Disney Plus.
