Matching 32 Marvel Cinematic Universe characters with each NFL team

San Francisco 49ers – Black Widow
The San Francisco 49ers had Steve Young, Joe Montana, and Jerry Rice. These guys are still looked at as some of the best at their position. Joe Montana is one of the best quarterbacks of all time. Some people think Jerry Rice is the best to ever play in the NFL. And we can’t forget Terrell Owens. Regardless of how he acted, he was one of the most exciting wide receivers to ever play the game. Not only has the team been home to some of the biggest names to ever play the game, but they’re one of four teams in NFL history to have five Super Bowl wins under their belt.
It’s befuddling how people don’t look at Black Widow as one of the best. If we’re being honest, she absolutely is. She was saving the world as a spy way before she was an Avenger. She’s easily one of the best heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That fact was solidified with her sacrifice in Avengers: Endgame. The 49ers have had their down years, but they are still one of the all-time great NFL franchises.
Black Widow does have something over the greats. She’s more accurate with a gun than Montana and Young are with the football; she’s easily more athletic than Rice and she would get in more trouble than Owens.
