15. Nyssa al Ghul

Nyssa al Ghul is one of those characters who could have easily moved from recurring status to main with ease. What Katrina Law did with Nyssa was so brilliant and easy that it always felt like this was a character who belonged on the series.

Whether she was proving her abilities as a deadly assassin, losing her heart to Sara Lance, or helping Team Arrow in her own way, Nyssa does it with a grace and danger that makes her one of the best characters to not be a star.

The reason Nyssa lands firmly in the middle of the rankings on this list is because she is never a main character in the series and she didn’t get used nearly enough (at least to my liking). That being said, this is a character with a temper and that temper is one of her biggest downfalls. It is also the kind of issue that makes her less of an asset for the team.

However, even with her temper, Nyssa al Ghul was always reliable when it came to being an ally of Oliver Queen and his team. And whether she was mentoring Laurel Lance or just being a friend, Nyssa never wavered from who she was.

We wish we got the chance to see more of her across the Arrowverse.
