Jade Cargill’s signing with the WWE is big news, but there are only certain women worthy of being her first feud.

Jade Cargill becoming a WWE superstar was huge news in the wrestling community. Whether or not AEW handled her is a matter of opinion. That being said, World Wrestling Entertainment made it a point to give Jade the introduction worthy of a superstar and she hasn’t had her first WWE match yet.

Cargill has mega-star written all over her. She works hard, she’s talented and gorgeous, and when she talks, you need to listen. This is why the WWE is making her presence known. They’re aware that she’s destined for great things. It’s also why (as this article is being written) she hasn’t had a big feud yet. When she does, it must be handled with care. That’s why these seven superstars are the only people who should kickstart her career and why one of them should be slow-rolled.

6. Tiffany Stratton

Tiffany Stratton has it all. She’s athletic, beautiful, young, and knows how to be hatable. She’s already shown that her gimmick doesn’t stop her from being great. Back in the day, attractive women wrestlers weren’t known for being hardcore wrestlers. Stratton has proven this to be an old, tired trope. Especially after her Extreme Rules Match with Becky Lynch (NXT No Mercy).

A Stratton vs. Cargill feud puts two of the “baddies” against each other. Jade is still a little green when it comes to performing in the ring. Having someone like Tiffany Stratton go against her first will help her progress as an in-ring performer. It also builds her anticipation if she starts at NXT and then moves to the main roster. Stratton will be there soon as well and they’ll meet again.

5. Shayna Baszler

Shayna Baszler was once the most dominant woman on the roster. During her run during NXT and first months on Monday Night Raw, Baszler left a trail of broken limbs and choked-out opponents. Despite her recent win/loss, Shayna has started to regain some of that dominance. This will help when she goes up against Jade.

When Ronda Rousey first came into the WWE, they had her fight people she should lose to. Among those competitors were Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks. This helped her reputation. Defeating Shayna Baszler is an accomplishment for anyone. Depending on how Jade wins, it could be the biggest victory in her young WWE career.

4. Bayley

This writer has said it before, but it’s worth saying again. Bayley is a king/queenmaker. Look at all of the people she’s gone up against in the WWE. Shayna Baszler, Bianca Belair, and Sasha Banks have gone on to do bigger and better things because Bayley brings the best out of them. This would happen with Jade Cargill.

If this writer had a choice, Bayley would be Jade’s first WWE feud. The Role Model has battled people of all sizes, skill levels, and styles. Jade needs a ring general like her. She can take everything she learns from Bayley in the ring and carry it for the rest of her WWE career.

3. Nia Jax

There are a lot of strong women in the WWE, but none of them are as intimidating as Nia Jax. She’s one of the few women to enter the men’s Royal Rumble (2019) and eliminate someone. Nia’s also so commanding that it took three finishers from the male superstars to take her down.

Jade Cargill is physically intimidating in her own right. She’s built like a goddess and has the power to match. Just knocking Nia Jax off her feet would be an achievement. Imagine if she does it easily. That moment would rule the internet.

2. Charlotte Flair

Jade and Charlotte have already met face-to-face. This was a tease of things to come. Will it happen anytime soon? Not likely. This is a match that should be built up for months. Maybe even a year. If Jade fights Flair early in her career, her loss could derail her momentum. Thankfully, not every feud needs a fight.

Flair and Cargill should have a war of words. It may not be the feud that people want, but it could still be entertaining. Maybe even a competition of athleticism like Bianca Belair and Bayley had. Regardless of what they do, they should compete outside of a WWE match.

1. Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch has had an extraordinary run. She’s a WWE Grand Slam Champion who’s been more than happy to put people over. She recently lost her NXT title to the younger superstar, Lyra Valkyria. A match that will make Valkyria’s career. Becky also had one of her best feuds with Bianca Belair.

Becky Lynch shouldn’t have a problem losing to Jade. At this point, she’s like Stone Cold, Triple H, and Brock Lesnar. They’ve all spent the latter parts of their careers making others look amazing. There’s no reason why Becky Lynch won’t do the same. Especially since she’s done it already. Not that Becky is at her end. She just doesn’t need to spotlight to be The Man.

The feud we don’t want: Bianca Belair

When these two women fight, it shouldn’t be Jade’s first handful of matches. This has to be handled like Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler. The two of them should meet backstage at a premium live event or during the WWE Women’s Royal Rumble Match. They can talk some trash, maybe fight a little, but not have an actual match. That’s something that should be reserved for WrestleMania.

Everything about this should be handled with care. It could become the wrestling event of the year. Their ring intros with celebrities doing their music, outfits, and more will bring the house down. All of this will lead to the main event to close out WrestleMania weekend. But, it can’t be Jade’s first WWE feud. To quote Jaffe Joffer, “LET THEM WAIT!” It will be worth it.
