The Night Agent

One of the first shows to return in the new year is Netflix’s breakout hit from 2023, The Night Agent. No one predicted The Night Agent would become one of the biggest shows of the year when it debuted in 2023, but audiences across the globe quickly fell in love with Gabriel Basso’s Peter Sutherland who will be back for a new adventure in season 2.

The second season finds our newly minted Night Agent once again racing against the clock, this time to stop an attack planned on New York City. He’ll once again have Luciane Buchanan’s Rose Larkin by his side and there will be plenty of new faces entering the picture across the second season when it drops in January.

If season 1 was any indication, fans are in for yet another thrilling season full of shocking twists and unexpected blindsides and we wouldn’t be surprised at all if season 2 ended up being even bigger than the show’s first season! Speaking of which, there is plenty of time to catch up on season 1 before season 2’s arrival this month and we can promise you won’t want to sleep on this incredible series.

The Night Agent season 2 premieres Jan. 23 on Netflix.

Daredevil: Born Again

When Netflix canceled Daredevil back in 2018, Marvel fans thought we’d never get the chance to see Charlie Cox suit up again as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen and for a long way it looked like his time playing the character was over. Then Marvel surprised fans by bringing Cox back into the fold via Spider-Man: No Way Home via a surprise cameo that cracked the door open for his eventual return in a larger role. Enter Daredevil: Born Again.

This new Disney+ original series will see Cox back as Daredevil once again juggling his dual life as a vigilante by night and a lawyer by day. Just as in the Netflix series, his main adversary will once again be Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk who has transformed from a former mob boss into a politician looking to gain even more power within the confines of the city.

While it remains to be seen how close to the original Netflix series Daredevil: Born Again ends up being, what we know is that the series has the potential to become one of the greatest Marvel Disney+ original series to grace our screens. And unlike many Marvel Disney+ shows, we already know that Daredevil’s adventures will continue beyond season 1 with a second season already ordered!

Daredevil: Born Again premieres March 4 on Disney+.
