Electro

Jamie Foxx’s Electro was a great addition to Amazing Spider-Man 2, his transformation from timid Max Dillon to energised and powerful super villain was well done and his action sequences with Spider-Man are some of the best ever recorded on film in a superhero movie.

However Jamie Foxx had a surprising source of inspiration for the character that I don’t think any Spider-Fan would have expected. Jamie’s Electro inspiration was none other than four-time Oscar winner and silver screen legend Clint Eastwood, citing lines like “Go ahead make my day” as examples he’d drawn upon for Electro.

Watch Jamie answering the question in the below video courtesy of cinemablend. Although please forgive the young lad for not knowing who Clint is. He will learn.
